Call out totals (See Call-Outs Page for latest)

The Seahouses Group cover the seaside villages of Seahouses, Emergency Ambulance respondingBamburgh and Beadnell, and have responded to calls at Waren Mill, Budle, Chathill, Embleton, Low Newton, Belford and Longhoughton. The area is a popular tourist destination with the Farne Islands just offshore, the castles of Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Dunstanburgh, the nearby historic border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, and Alnwick with its famous Gardens and Castle (Harry Potter fame). The area has numerous large caravan parks, and many hotels, B & B’s, holiday lets and campsites, which can account for the population increasing more than threefold during the holiday season. This in turn can provide heavy demands upon the resources of the North East Ambulance Service in this area.
